This piece is a beautiful blend of natural seashells and sea glass paired with elegant jewelry charms, pearls and sparkling rhinestones. Such an incredible, creative evening at our Shell Assemblage Workshop! ✨ 🐚 🎨

I am so proud of these ladies and the stunning, unique pieces they created. It is always amazing to see how the exact same materials can be transformed into completely individual masterpieces!

We had an absolute blast working with a variety of beautiful layouts. The finished pieces included two gorgeous scallop shells, a dynamic cresting wave, a romantic heart, and two elegant starfish compositions. Every single student brought so much personal vision, texture, and color to their artwork!

✨Introducing my new Shadow Box Assemblage Collection!✨
I’ve been spending some time in the studio lately letting my creativity run wild, and I’m so excited to finally share these new shadow boxes with you all!

Each piece is a completely unique, handcrafted window into a tiny world. I’ve been experimenting with three very distinct styles of assemblages:

🐚 Natural Shell Assemblages: Carefully selected, cleaned, and arranged treasures from the shoreline, blended with sea glass, pearls, and porcelain shards.
💎 Jewelry & Charm Assemblages: A nostalgic, textured mix of vintage pieces, charms, and sparkling components that tell a beautiful visual story.
🎨 Decoupage Shell Assemblages: Combining the natural contours of elegant shells with intricate patterns and delicate designs for a truly classic, artistic finish.

Sharing my latest creative project! 🌊✨ I just finished this new seashell assemblage shadow box, which reimagines coastal treasures as a delicate orchid branch in bloom. 🐚🌸

By pairing rugged, textured bivalve shells to capture the unique anatomy of orchid petals with smooth, polished cowries and a winding strand of pearls for the stem, I wanted to explore the balance between natural organic forms and classic elegance.

It’s amazing how a few gifts from the sea can completely transform when brought together into a botanical composition. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Fresh off the easel! 🌊🐚 ✨ There is something so magical about bringing the ocean home with you. This new piece is a true labor of love, a unique cross between shell art and jewelry assemblage. Along with hand-collected sea shells, I’ve woven in genuine aquamarine and aventurine gemstone beads as well as the mother of pearl shards to capture the light of a breaking wave. Keeping it completely resin-free allows the raw, organic texture of the shells and the sparkle of the gems to take center stage.
