This is the mirror I found for the powder room. It has a cloth back that is glued on. The mirror, itself, is hand cut. The crocodile skin looks like the texture of the fabric showing through. it is 30 x 40 inches. Can anyone give me insight into this mirror. I found it on the side of the road, waiting for trash pick up. 😳

Okay, history buffs. I’m cleaning the walls for the powder room. These walls were originally the outside of the kitchen and house. As I’m cleaning, I notice that the bottom half was originally turquoise. (The living room plaster was also this shade). Would it have been common in 1840 for the exterior to be two (or more) shades?
