A rather brief exploration of my prep for three weekends of the Saint Paul Art crawl. I got a lot of art done prior to. A lot of drawings. Some paintings (what’s a digital painting?) and some marketing materials. All in all it was good and encouraging. I’ll definitely do another version. Hopefully soon!

These pet portraits and otherwise cheating blind contour drawings have been my number one seller. Probably because I’ve priced them pretty low for original work, but still. I think they show a skill and a delicacy with the capturing of subjects that isn’t easy to do, even if it look like it might be.
