Now THAT is how you start the summer off right. 🙌 What a great turnout for opening night!

We kicked things off in the best way possible, with a special visit from and three incredible performances from , , and the legendary .

We even had a little rain at the end of the night, but in true Minnesota fashion, nobody let a downpour stop the party. Watching everyone relish dancing in the rain felt entirely fitting. With Prince’s birthday right around the corner, and on stage (who played at Bunker's since 1987 and was famously known as Prince's favorite local band), we dare say Mears Park got its very own "Purple Rain". 💜🌧️

Thank you to the bands, the food trucks, and ALL OF YOU for making opening night a hit. We'll see you again next Thursday, June 11th!

We’ve had an incredible week sharing our excitement with the Twin Cities community. A huge thank you to for sitting down with our founder and director, Clint Roberts, to talk about what it means to bring everyone together for another free summer of live, local music.

We also got to hang out with this week for a sneak preview featuring Robert Wilkinson from .ohs. Robert was kind enough to call Lowertown Sounds the highlight of the year, saying, "It's about connection. We want to be in a place and feel a lot of love, and light, connection, joy, and Lowertown Sounds is an event that is so great for this." You can catch .ohs live on our stage for the July 15th show!

And finally, shout-out to the Good Day show at this morning! One of our amazing opening-night bands, , joined the broadcast to give everyone a taste of what’s hitting the stage tonight.

The music is locked in, and the food trucks are ready. We will see you TONIGHT at Mears Park, St. Paul.

Starting the week on a high note because summer concert season is officially BACK. 🎶

Our very first show is this Thursday, June 4th, from 6pm-10pm! We are kicking things off with an incredible lineup...get ready for a night of live, local music featuring , joined by and .

We’ll also have ten different local food trucks, plus beer, wine, and other beverages. Grab your lawn chairs, round up your crew, and get ready for a perfect summer night in St. Paul's Mears Park.📍

It was great to hear from Mayor Her and Jaimee Lucke Hendrikson about the incredible cultural energy and partnerships that keep St. Paul’s music and hospitality scenes thriving! 🤝🌈
