We’re back in Mears Park this Thursday, June 25th, for another night of free live music! is kicking things off for us at 6pm! It’s their very first time on the stage, and we’re excited to have them join the lineup this summer. After, St. Paul legends .ohs will be taking the stage as our headliner!🔥

From the lights that illuminate the historic streets of Lowertown to the infrastructure, businesses, and residents that keep downtown St. Paul moving forward, this city runs on community power. 🏙️ We are proud to be a hub where friends, families, and neighbors can connect, relax, and enjoy live music together. It’s safe to say Mears Park found its rhythm last night! 🥁 ☀️

From the second things kicked off, the park was completely packed with a sea of lawn chairs, sunshine, and smiling faces. After a few rainy shows this summer, that weather was exactly what we needed. You all brought the absolute best energy, singing and dancing with us right up until the last note!🕺

Black Market Brass got the groove started with an incredible opening set, paving the way for our headliners, The New Standards. And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, jeremy messersmith made a surprise guest appearance with The New Standards to treat us all to a classic sing-along! We were also lucky enough to have guest performers Hugo from The Suburbs and abywolf 🙌

Beyond the music, it was a community-centered evening:

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT 💙 This week, we want to shine a light on the incredible team at , an organization dedicated to uplifting local creators and cultivating vibrant spaces right here in St. Paul.

Want to learn more about the work they do? Representatives from will be taking the Mears Park stage this Thursday, June 18th, between our musical sets to share their history, mission, and vision with the community.

They have some fantastic neighborhood events coming up that you should absolutely mark on your calendars:

🔥 Arts BQ Series

July 21 (6-8pm) @ Dale & University (Wendy’s Lot): Hosted by , featuring freestyles by centered on community themes, plus a special showcase by spreading love, peace, and unity!

🧱 Frogtown Arts Festival

Sept 19 (2-9pm): Since 2016, and have thrown this annual festival to celebrate the neighborhood. Come out for local performers, art vendors, workshops, and great food. This year's festival will explicitly honor our immigrant neighbors by sharing their history through art in response to the recent ICE surges affecting our community.

Thursday nights in Mears Park just keep getting better!! We are carrying last week's energy into this week by welcoming back some favorites. This Thursday, June 18th, the legendary takes the headlining slot, with the high-energy sounds of opening up the night! 🎷 Music kicks off right at 6pm, and goes til 10pm.

Come hungry, because we’ll have a batch of our favorite local food trucks lined up, plus cold beer ready from our craft beer partner 🍻 and delicious Minnesota wine.

A massive thank you to our presenting sponsor for helping us keep these community concerts 100% free all summer long. We can't wait to see you for another night in Lowertown St. Paul!
