**ONE-SHOT OPENS THIS WEEK AT SIX POINTS THEATER!**

What happens when the world outside threatens the future you're trying to build?

Set in 1999, Andrew Rosendorf's ONE-SHOT explores love, identity, immigration, and the difficult choices we make when fear and uncertainty enter our lives.

The National New Play Network (NNPN) has recognized the emotional power and contemporary relevance of this compelling new play.

“The ending moved me deeply...” — Dave Osmundsen

“Funny, romantic, honest and heart-breaking...” — Ian August

“...the play feels urgently relevant to today's issues.” — Premiere Stages at Kean University

These responses came from NNPN's reading of ONE-SHOT. Now it's your chance to experience the story on stage.

It's 1999. Two young men working in a neighborhood video store dream of escaping their ordinary lives and pursuing something bigger.

But in a world increasingly shaped by prejudice, questions of immigration, identity, and belonging can change everything.

Against a backdrop of antisemitism, discrimination, and the threat of violence, ONE-SHOT explores the fragile nature of opportunity and how quickly the future we imagine can be threatened.

Set in 1999. Uncomfortably relevant in 2026.

Experience ONE-SHOT, a thought-provoking drama about ambition, prejudice, and the choices that define us.

Mason Tyer, Fight Director of ONE-SHOT

"I'm enthralled by Andrew Rosendorf's text as a question to its characters and us: in a society that hates you, what is success, and what of yourself is worth sacrificing to get it? These characters answer this with hope and fear and persistence and dreams, in a manner imperfectly and beautifully human."
