Bucket Brigade

Bucket Brigade Bucket Brigade is about creating new work– telling new stories from scratch and sharing them in their West 7th Saint Paul neighborhood.

Bucket Brigade is many hands making art work. Bucket Brigade is about making good art and passing it around– sharing good stories so they get to all the nooks and crannies of our community. It’s about raising up the next generation of good art/deed doers. It’s about spreading the love and passing the peace. Bucket Brigade is many hands making art, community, life... work. Our mission is to be a ca

talyst for creating quality art that engages, inspires, and uplifts the community. Engage– Produce theater that creatively connects with audiences and provide hands-on art experiences for the community. Inspire– Raise up the next generation of artists through classes, workshops and art-making opportunities with seasoned artists. Uplift– Tell redemptive stories and make art that meets real needs in the community. What sort of art are we putting in buckets and passing around? (figuratively, and in some cases, literally)

Imaginative– We love imagination and we invite our audiences to use theirs. We like art that doesn’t fill in all the blanks. Accessible– Art that isn’t too “artsy” and also isn’t too darn expensive. Redemptive– Art that believes that despite all the bad stuff, good is always breaking through. Original- Brand-spanking new work and unfamiliar twists on familiar tales. You’ll find us in the vibrant and diverse West End neighborhood of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Our primary home for performances, workshops and events is Art House North– a venue for cultivating art and community in the West End.
