FYI, the TC Rebels is cancelling our West Coast Swing classes on Sunday, March 15th due to the heavy snow predicted and out of an abundance of caution. Our top priority is always the safety of our members. We do not want folks trying to get to class this Sunday. Classes will continue Sunday, March 22nd. See you then!

Hunger and food insecurity are real problems facing many in our community.

Please bring non-perishable food items, or use cash, check or credit card to make a donation to the Open Door Pantry.

A financial donation is very much appreciated as the Open Door Pantry can buy what they are short on and leverage the donation for a bigger impact.

The Rebels will collect donations at our dances and classes in November and December 2025, making deliveries to the Open Door Pantry both before Thanksgiving and after our last dance in December (on Dec 19th).

A Very Sad Announcement - Don Roll

We received this news last night from Barb Brunjes:

Dear MN West Coast Swing, TCRebels and SWINGesota dancers:

With profound sadness and respect, the family of Donald H Roll (Don) announces his passing away unexpectedly of a medical event on May 8, 2025. We understand this news may be difficult for many of you.

Don had a passion for music, dancing, DJ ing for MWCSDC, TCRebels and friends' parties , as well as, a board member/treasurer for MWCSDC non-profit.

Pam Sparks, Don’s sister and the whole Roll Family greatly appreciate your friendship with Donnie. We invite you to join us in his Celebration of Life events in Minnesota and Missouri.

• Funeral is planned for Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest, Stillwater MN 55082 this month (MAY) and the date is a future announcement).
• May 30th is a Celebration of Life, Dance, Memories ,Stories and pictures at Dance and Entertainment Studio,5880 Omaha Ave N, Stillwater, MN 55082.
• Burial is taking place in his home state of Missouri , the subject of future announcement.
Let us come together to support one another.

It's such a shock that Don is gone - we just had a great chat at our Anniversary event on May 3rd. I am so, so sad. Don was one of the nicest, best human beings you could ever hope to meet. We will miss him so much! My heart just aches.
