"My style is colorful and bold. I am obsessed with bright color and well-defined lines. Sometimes that comes across in a cartoonish way and other times, it is a bit looser, more impressionistic. I draw everything, from flowers to food, cookie jars to jazz bands. I love to take a sketchbook with me where ever I go and draw what surrounds me. Those drawings become the basis for paintings. So many of my ideas start as a doodle in my journal and then grow from there. Inspirational quotes and hand lettering has also become a passion of mine lately, so that has made its way into my work as well."
