Hello Friends,

It gives us great pleasure to introduce you to Laura Rudolph Morris and Eric Morris, the new owners of the theater space. Laura and Eric are seasoned Twin Cities performing artists and we couldn't be more excited to hand over the keys to the building to them. The theater will have a new name, The Hive Collaborative. Inspired by nature’s ultimate collaborators, the humble bee, The Hive Collaborative strives to be an open, inviting and accessible space for artists of all disciplines to thrive and create. Dreamland Arts won't have a physical location any longer, but we're going to keep the business active for the foreseeable future, although we don't quite know what we're going to do next. But we'll be around, and send out an occasional e-newsletter, if you'd like to stay on this list. Thank you all for a great 18 years in a quiet corner of St. Paul!

We're so excited to welcome back Margo McCreary - Puppeteer to Dreamland Arts this weekend, Fri-Sun, June 30 - July 2, with a new show. The performance on Friday evening is sold out, but we still have tickets available for Sat and Sun. Hope to see you!

Heart is fed up with the demands on her steady self and decides to venture out in search of what can bolster her in these fast-paced times. She discovers a spacious world that allows her to breathe deeply with her own imaginary nose.

We're looking forward to hosting a great team of artists from Phantom Chorus Theatre for CHROMA: A Color Spectrum Anthology Show, from June 2-11. The show is recommended for audiences of all ages, and includes a sensory-friendly performance too!

CHROMA is a new, original work: a collection of 9 scenes, each themed around a different color of the visual spectrum.

Thank you to everyone who wrote to us to share their thoughts and sentiments about Dreamland Arts, and our presence in the neighborhood for 17+ years. We’re happy to announce that we have entered into a purchase agreement with a buyer who intends to continue to operate the commercial half of our property as a performance venue! More details are coming soon.

A letter from the owners of Dreamland Arts announcing the sale of their Mixed Use Commercial Space.

Hello Friends,

We have some news to share. After 17 years of running Dreamland Arts, we have decided to make a change, downsize and move into an apartment nearby. Today, we are announcing the sale of our house and theater (together considered one property by Ramsey County).

We hope to find a buyer that will keep the theater building as a neighborhood arts asset for the community, and perhaps even keep it running as a theater venue. If you know of someone that might be interested in our unique mixed-use commercial and residential property (the two buildings are attached underground) please share this news with them.

We have a lot of good programming lined up for the next few months, so we hope to see you at one of our upcoming events. Thank you for having been on this journey with us. We feel truly fortunate to have been able to welcome so many incredible artists and audiences over the years to our little corner of St. Paul.

We don’t know exactly what we will be doing for the next phase of our artistic adventure, but we’re very much looking forward to what’s to come!
