We are so grateful for all the love you've shown our little venue and wanted to share our fun announcement! On Occtober 4 of last year, on a sweltering, but beautiful 90 degree day, Gina and John got married on the Lily Pad stage. We invited friends and family for a backyard party, and surprised them with a wedding, officiated by our dear friend Judy. Molly Maher provided wonderful music and it was a lovely day. Cheers, friends!

We are thrilled to announce our 2026 season lineup!! It's gonna be a fabulous summer with a lot of variety - truly something for everyone, from country to classical to metal to experimental to revolutionary pop/rock.

Eleganza will be at the lounge THIS SATURDAY, September 13th! Are they punk, h***y tonk, country, rock, blues? Somehow they are ALL OF THEM and boy are we here for it. It’s September!! Who’s ready for some funk? We cannot wait for TH3, coming up on September 13 at the lounge!! This is a Minneapolis based trio of super talented dudes (Grant Eull, Jeff Ham, Randy Kramer) who you’ve seen in many other great bands around town. They’ve cultivated some all original, instrumental grooves, that will get your body moving. This is good stuff, people. Check it out on band camp and come see them live a week from Saturday!

Time for a quick reintroduction!

We are Gina Fruncillo and John Christensen. In the fall of 2023, John's DEVO tribute band had a last minute gig cancelled, and we decided to pick up the show in our own backyard. We had a blast and decided that backyard shows were definitely for us. As we brainstormed names for our venue, John said Lily Pad Lounge and, well... is there a better name for a little venue in the Frogtown neighborhood? Nope!

Lucky for us, we have wonderful musician friends who were willing to fill up our schedule for year one, and despite a few weather challenges, it was an overall success! This is our second full year, and attendance has been very good. We have a suggested donation of $15 and 100% of the collected money goes to the bands. Our neighbors often attend, and those who do not, have still supported this community building event that is always finished before 10pm! We are grateful.

There's one last show for this year, coming up September 13th. More to come on TH3 and Eleganza, who will be performing. But trust us, this is going to be a really, really good show. Reminder that all shows are open to the public- please spread the word!

Summer is flying by, and there's plenty more music coming for fall! Our next show is September 13 and we can't wait to host TH3 + Eleganza! It'll be a night absolutely drenched with local talent. Do not miss this one!

This epic show is TOMORROW NIGHT!! That chance of rain in the forecast is for early morning - just a little rinse off to freshen up the lounge, cool things off and we will be ready to rock.
