We here at Christmas in the Village would like to praise the people of St Paris for showing up today for the Thornton family!! It was an awesome turn out today!! The weather could not have been more perfect! I know a lot went into this day! The park looked amazing! A lot of citizens donated their time and money over the past few months, weeding, planting flowers, mulching, power washing, and staining the entrance to prepare for this day! The speeches were heartwarming regarding what the Thornton family has done for our community over the years! The Brock Comer Foundation provided wonderful refreshments following the ceremony and dedication! This right here is people loving people and supporting each other! We are a very lucky community to live in a Village where we care so deeply about each other!! Let’s continue to love and support each other !!

All of our Trivia players our Halloween trivia is Saturday, October 17th!!! SAVE THAT DATE!! We have so much fun at Halloween Trivia !! From the costumes, those amazing raffle baskets!!!the music, the food, the TRIVIA!! It’s a blast!! Mark those calendars now so you are free to come play Halloween Trivia!!! We now except Venmo to make it even easier to play, bid on baskets and enter into our 50/50 drawling !! No excuses this is plenty of notice!! Who is playing Trivia????

Christmas In the Village St Paris Inc partnered with several of the down town businesses In July for the monthly Friday night event! The one in July was “Christmas In July” we had the very best time it was a blast!! Christmas In The Village along with The Local Pair Market, Luna Belles Sweet Shop, The First Central National Bank, The Shoop Shop, The Thrifty Falcon, The St Paris Pharmacy and Richwood Bank came together and raffled off a basket and excepted donations for tickets to support Graham Local Schools! We had Santa and the Grinch come we had fun games and iced Hot Cocoa which the St Paris Pharmacy also help Christmas In The Village provide for our Villagers!! We had awesome Christmas music by Sounds of Champaign DJ Service! We had free ice cream donated by anonymous donor!! The shops were open and had something for everyone!! We can’t wait to do this again next July!! Thank you Villagers for always supporting local and being amazing!! We love our Villagers !! Lots more opportunities coming up in the next several weeks and months to support events in our great Village Starting this Friday , Saturday and Sunday!!!
