The purpose and mission of SLAVIC EXPERIENCE is to create a welcoming space for people of Slavic heritage to commemorate, celebrate, and share the richness and diversity of Eastern European traditions and customs with the greater Twin Cities community. Peopl

e of Slavic heritage include those whose families once emigrated from countries like Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Russia, Slovakia, Belarus, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, and Serbia, as well as other Eastern European nations. It is our goal to accomplish this in a number of educationally and culturally significant ways, and to provide a fun, free, and family-friendly experience

Wear an element of your national costume, traditional clothing, embroidery, jewelry, or cultural accessories — whatever represents your heritage and makes you proud. 🇵🇱✨

Culture is real. Authenticity is valuable. And traditions are meant to be shared.

Come spend a little time with us, engage with the public, tell your story, take photos, and share a piece of your nation with Minnesota. You don't need a full traditional costume — even one meaningful piece can start a conversation.

Let's show people that Slavic culture isn't just something you read about or see on a stage. It's living, beautiful, diverse, and carried by real people.
