CHECK OUT THIS NEW PAINT KIT!

A while back I created an 8-color reduction print inspired by a quote from Bad Bunny:
“The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”

I filled it with Puerto Rican-inspired flowers, foliage, and a tiny coquí frog tucked into the artwork as a little love note to culture, beauty, and resilience. After printing the full-color edition, I pulled fresh black key-block prints on dreamy 110 # Cranes Lettra paper and started wondering… what if people could paint their own?

So I reached out to the wildly talented folks at Beam Paints — an Indigenous woman-owned watercolor company creating handmade paints from natural pigments and tree sap on Manitoulin Island, Ontario. I printed designed and printed custom paint cards and shipped them off along the posters, and they sent back these absolutely gorgeous little paint sets that honestly feel like magic.

This past weekend, about two dozen incredible folks visited the shop to help pack coloring card kits for kids in our community. Printed in English, Spanish, and Somali, we created these kits to remind kiddos and their families that they are seen and supported!!

We assembled and sent:
→ 75 to Fe y Justicia (Spanish mutual aid)
→ 75 to Falan/Bilan (Somali mutual aid)
→ 75 to a group supporting kids in Wright County

Just finished a monster of a poster. This was a NINE-COLOR multi block and reduction that I got custom Pantone inks made for! Thanks to American Artisan Inks, that was COOL! Also, working on a collab of this print to be a DIY paint kit - COMING SOON! Still some of these posters available if you wanna hang this beaut on your wall.
