I'm still here! I know I've been really quiet lately, and not keeping you all up to date on what has been keeping me away from everyone. We are still knee deep in restoring the new house, which is a vast improvement from the eyeball deep state we were in 2 months ago! 😆 I can see the light at the end of the tunnel finally. The truth is, even if that light is a train, we are moving in by the end of June regardless of it being finished or not. I'm now belly deep in boxes and packing (NOT my favorite thing to do, trust me!) and taking loads over to a temporary storage locker. It's slow going, but a lot easier on hubby and I. Much as I hate to admit it, we are not as young as we used to be, and the aches and pains stick around longer anymore. Never fear, I'll keep popping in here just so you know I'm still alive and kickin'! Another month to get moved, and a couple of weeks to get settled in (somewhat 🙄) and of course, get my new studio set up and then I will be back to business as usual. Pinky promise! 🩷😉

Apparently Sally believed Skip-Bo needed a quality control supervisor. 😆

What you don’t see in this photo is the absolute carnage happening on the table…

because she couldn’t just sit there nicely. Oh no. She had to wiggle around, flick cards everywhere with her tail, and insert herself directly into the middle of the game. 😂

Pretty sure she still thought she was winning too.

Anyone else have pets that insist on “helping” during game night? 😄

a king size bed is somehow STILL not big enough for all of us. 😂

Day 60.

I’ve been showing up here every day for the last two months…
and honestly, that hasn’t been easy for me for a while.

Since my illness, consistency has been something I’ve had to fight for.

And lately, life has been… a lot.
Between my dad, the house, and everything else going on…

But I’m still here.

Still picking up my pencils when I can.
Still building something, one day at a time.

That matters to me.

And I’m not done yet. 💛

Today was Sally’s 8th “Gotcha Day.” 💛

She found her way into my life… and never left.

And honestly? I can’t imagine this place without her.
