At my band rehearsal last evening, one of our baritone players took the 3rd piston out of his horn to oil it and dropped it. The piston hit on the metal leg of his stand and got a dent in it. It's a Conn Constellation (1969 from the leading "M" on the serial number). I haven't ever had to deal with this repair so how is it handled? I've used Ferree's ground valve sleeves before for out-of-round pistons. Is that what would be used to deal with the dent? Please advise. Thanks.
