This is a fossil that appears to be a p***s with a smiley face.
Part of my fingertip bitten off while breaking up a dog fight two days ago. Got 6 stitches to reattach my floppy fingerprint that didn't get eaten. Here are some pics of more rock rings while I embrace my inner newt to regrow my tip.🦎😘🖕

Everyone needs to invest in a handheld microscope! Each of these glaze close-ups are from the piece in the final picture! Crystals and tiny universes are everywhere! I could honestly sit and explore the inner depths of glazes all day. 🌌

Cone 10 reduction fired stoneware cup.
This is the last of the pieces I made while at MassArt. It has been a lot of trial and error to stay productive and to feel okay with taking a break. There have been spurts of energy but a lot of lows too so I have just been focusing on living in the moment.
Stay tuned for a whole new body of work once I figure out a new studio situation!

🌱Spring is here 🌱
❄ Woke up to more snow but I'm feeling ready to get busy! Our family car was totalled for most of winter and our beagle, Copper, was hit by a car and broke his leg in two places. We finally have some wheels and thanks to some wonderful people who helped reach our goal on GoFundMe, we raised enough for Copper's surgery so he is healthy and now has a fancy metal rod in his leg 🐶🚗 .
🤗 I'm feeling thankful and have some plans in motion finally after not doing any art for far too long. Anyone interested in a give away? 🤔 Stay tuned! .

The last of the glass/ceramics collaborative experiments with the very talented Angela McHale // Rose Glass Art from last year. 😺🔥check her out!

It definitely looks like a brain but it was a glass bubble that was dipped into stoneware slip and then a watery mix of red iron oxide. 🌋

Little glass blob test from last semester with Angela McHale // Rose Glass Art.

Tried mixing cobalt carbonate and rutile with some silica to see if it could melt and color the glass.
