There are enough people in the world to put us in boxes and tell us what we can, and cannot do. We do not need to put ourselves in neat little boxes. I have never done this to myself when it came to my voice and style. I have limited myself as a performer. I did not see myself as anything but a singer and actor. Thanks to pushing me past my fear of failure, I began solo gigging with ukulele just over a year ago. I am so grateful to him for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Performing on my own has brought me so much joy. I am better every day. Stop holding yourself back. Be adventurous in your art, and explore all the possibilities of what you can be. You will surprise yourself. There will always be people in your corner to believe in you and hold you up.
