Ready to flip the switch in a couple of hours.
Unfortunately it looks like rain this evening and the concerts go on rain or shine.
We encourage you to still attend as there is some bench/picnic table seating under the Pavilion; there’s a bit of an overhang on the back of the Pavillion to seat some; or bring an umbrella with you. We’re sorry for the weather but it’s been a long standing policy to have the shows go on as often times our groups have travelled quite a distance or may not have a re-schedule make up date available.

What is this you might ask? 🤔
No…we’re not giving away free mulch! 🫤
No… we’re not covering the stage with it to make it softer on the musicians’ feet. 🥴
The Landscaping crew is getting the Shell grounds all tidied up and looking beautiful, because….wait for it….. TWO (2) weeks from TODAY is Opening night of another long hot summer of Concerts in the Park!! YES!
Stay tuned and keep looking for those events to be posted as your concert reminders of who’s up next ! And stay tuned as we may be able to locate Bill Tennant for another one of his pre-series rundown countdown videos!! 🤞🏻

Here is the anatomy of a Facebook event for anyone uncertain of their intent!
At least for Facebook listing all of a venue’s Events puts them all in one place under one heading called Events; this way “new” followers as well as all you veteran followers of our page can see each event when you click on the Events tab. No longer a need to scroll down through the entire fb page looking for the calendar we posted weeks ago!
ALSO… for each event as it appears in the snapshot below there are click prompts you can tap if you’re either “interested” in the event or are definitely “Going” to the event; by clicking these you should automatically receive from fb reminders of these events as they get closer to the date..that way you won’t forget about the concert you’ve been wanting to attend since the schedule came out! And there is always a brief summary of who and what you’ll see at each concert in case you’re wondering!
