Halloween 2025 at A Haunting on Oakland Street! We had fun building some new set pieces for the pirate scene,which included a “jail” and a store front,which will get completed next year with details and props, and a different fortune teller booth. Another build this year was a new witch’s’ hut, as the old one was used for the fisherman!

How about building a gothic trailer? You could use it for hire in the Fall for festivals & parties; maybe selling cider & donuts from?! Or maybe a spooky Halloween themed traveling bar for hire?! Or maybe even hit the Fall craft shows selling Autumn and Halloween inspired art and crafts ?!?

Ok…well.. we haven’t been very diligent at all posting about A Haunting on Oakland Street.. and we do appreciate immensely the few followers we have on here -so far!!
Our 2025 goal is to 1. Post more content 2. Share more of the Halloween memes and content we run across ,in case you guys haven’t seen that same content somewhere already and 3. Share more pics from our haunt and what’s going on and 4. Share links to other Halloween related things happening; again if anyone following us haven’t already seen or heard about other fb sites, haunted houses in Michigan, displays etc.
That’s the goal ! Next we need to try to find more followers and see if our little ole yard haunt can gain some more fans! It’s been a sort of hobby we both have enjoyed working on together since moving back to town where our haunt yard creativity can be put to more use!

Besides being windy,the weather was fantastic this year and a record number of trick or treaters…dare we say the 500 mark was hit and slightly surpassed! Holy cow…but all the kids AND teens seemed to love it and be appreciative and enjoyed the fog bubble machine most,again this year !

Sure hoping for better weather this year ! Despite the cold and unbelievable snow flurries last year,we still pushed through river 350 kids ! The Fobble machine was the biggest hit !

Actually it’s only Sept. 18..lol! Oh well..the last couple years have been so much fun seeing all the kids-trick or treaters come out Halloween Night here. And especially last year when it was cold and snowing !!! We still had a record number of kids and teens ..somewhere around 350!

The goal for this page,”A Haunting on Oakland Street”, is to share pics and video each Halloween season of the yard haunt we create in September and October here in St. Johns!
