So honored and humbled my piece “Watchers Of The Wood” won an award at the juried, invitation only Honors Show at the St Augustine Art Association! I’m truly grateful to be in such talented company!

New finished work!

“Watchers Of The Wood”, paper quilling and acrylic, 14”x 18”

My homage to The Green Man from British folklore.

I’ve been wanting to do this piece for over a year and finally got up the nerve to actually do it. It’s a departure from my norm of flowers and landscapes!

It was inspired by many things, first and foremost my British ancestry, but also a Neil Gaiman novel and a popular pub in Asheville, North Carolina 😉
