Thank you everyone. We are now at home but will be recovering for 2to 4 months. Pat has rib and lung injuries. Also arm lmjuries. Gerry as broken tail bone and broken foot. Again thank you all for your thoughts and prarers. God has blessed us so for being able to share our love for these beautiful animals and the ability to entertain and meet so many amazing people over the last 27 years god bless you all. We had to cancel the events we had scheduled in August due to an accident last Saturday in Tyler with the horses and carriage. We are recuperating at the Avera Rehabilitation Center in Sioux Falls which may be 3 to 4 weeks. Gerry has a fractured tail bone and ankle, and a severely strained foot. Pat has some fractured ribs with a punctured lung, and knee abrasion, and both some road rashes/abrasions. We will miss doing the events, hoping to continue later asking for prayers and support. With all the snow out there, sometimes it is sort of hard to believe summer will arrive. It is so wonderful to have a couple of days in a row, without Gerry having to spend 5 - 6 hours on the tractor every other day moving snow. Been an unbelievable winter around here, as I know it is all over! Yet we have commented how pretty it is sometimes. We are pretty sure EVERYONE is looking forward to the warmer days. We would like to ask if your community is planning any type of event this summer, please give Gerry a call, 507-399-4505----even if we have been at your special events in the past, he does need a call to get your community on the calendar for this summer. The calendar does seem to fill quite fast, and we have received calls from new communities. Please remember, we are available for any special event--birthdays, anniversaries---just give him a call. We are open to having your celebration out here also, if interested. Hoping to see you sometime this summer

What a year------experienced rain, heat, torrential downpours, cold, snow, that sleety rain snow mixture creating a 30 mile an hour ride home from Mankato, but with all that weather, nothing was ever cancelled. It was a busy year with a total of 67 venues, including 12 new community celebrations, personal parties like open houses, wedding, birthday, anniversary, and 21 senior housing facilities. We feel blessed in being able to offer this service to everyone; it is a lot of work, but a rewarding experience, with so many happy faces meeting new people, and we even had a wedding proposal on one ride(and she said yes). Rainbow Country Experience would not be possible without the support of the individuals in all the communities that invite us to be part of their community/family celebrations. Thank you everyone for making these events such a memorable time for us. Looking forward to 2019, with calls already coming in. We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, and “Happy New Year”.

Watch for a post later for a contest we will be having around the first of March. So stay tuned.
