County Line Community Band

County Line Community Band We rehearse at the American Legion in St. Hedwig which is the East side of San Antonio. Rehearsal is You’ll find us at the crossroads of three county lines.

We bring together the best of musicians from the San Antonio surrounding communities and we pack a powerful punch. We aspire to create a special note of elegance to any event. We are one of the oldest community bands in the area and we specialize in forming strong relationships with the smaller communities on the periphery of the San Antonio area. Once known as the “Village band of Floresville” we

now belong to a multitude of villages and to San Antonio. Our chameleonic repertoire allows us to celebrate almost any kind of event. From Octoberfest, to patriotic to Christmas and all the way to New Orleans with some second line! You will find the tapestry of sound that we create to be stirring, emotionally touching and delicious. What is our secret? Our dedicated and skillful musicians that meet each Sunday to rehearse and polish the music. They come from far and wide, but all of them are dedicated Texans who have been performing either professionally, semi-professionally or as Band Directors and Choir Directors in public schools. The depth of education and skill of our musicians makes the inner workings of the band like a finely crafted swiss watch. The beauty is in its intricacy, simplicity and efficiency. Don’t miss out on our performances! Like and share our page, follow us on Instagram and tell your friends about us. If you play an instrument and would like to join our ranks, let us know today! We would love to have you. Keep an eye on our calendar and check back often. Things are happening in the County Line Community Band!
