Hoy in the Willow

Hoy in the Willow I've been a dabbler in art all of my life. Took art classes in school, would paint or draw here and there, and always wanted to find time to do more.

In 2018, I went to SCSU and studied art. I had this young professor (well, I was old, so everyone was young) who encouraged me to use charcoal. I complained the entire time, but I did it. After I graduated, I continued to mess with it. I also dabbled more in ceramics and acrylic as well, but I kept finding a small bit of willow in my hand. ting requests! I displayed my work for the first time last month (sort of sick to my stomach still, but here I am, with a page)! This is me, not just getting my feet wet, but jumping in, sink or swim as I usually do in life!!
