One early morning I was surprised as I looked out my studio window. I saw a small silver spaceship hovering in the sky. The hatch of the ship opened and I watched in amazement as what looked like puffs of clouds floated out the door. Almost in an instant they took on form and color. Soon their unpredictable whimsical appearan

ce showed up on my canvas staging rather random communities of interaction. As I spend time with them I’m amazed by the graceful wisdom they embody. I’ve come to know them as the “Wee People”. Last evening I was watching out the window as dusk appeared and light pink clouds floated in the sky. I immediately thought of the Wee People. I feel like they are nudging me to pay attention to them. Maybe even inviting me to offer hospitality once again to their message.

I first met the Wee People several years ago when they gently floated in the sky and landed in my studio. They made a daily appearance on my canvas.

They came with a peaceful message of hope, ease and grace.

When I look at them I do feel peace and they remind me to choose ease and grace.
