We are so excited to have a wide range of new artists and some of our favorites for the upcoming Art Crawl St. Cloud on August 14th, from 4-8pm. Once again, DJ Biig Miic will be joining us and the Tiny School of Art & Design will be open for creativity!

So, there is a new mural coming to the alley wall of a bookshop near you! Local artist Heidi Jeub has secured an Arts Grant to install a mural in the alley behind the bookstore. This will happen later this fall and right now she is holding mini workshops to foster community engagement. They are mixing colors and putting them on canvas, and doing other artist things, so if you are interested in being part of this process there are two more sessions before installation. I will include the details in the comments below. I have tried to offer my unique perspective on color theory, but so far have not had a chance to participate. We are pretty excited to see this come together!

The alley behind Books Revisited is getting a vibrant makeover. Say hello to Prism Path—an ambitious community-engaged public art mural that celebrates color, diversity, and the beauty in overlooked spaces. Thank you to Central Minnesota Community Foundation and the Downtown Fund!

But here's what makes this special: YOU help inspire it. Before the mural goes up, the community paints panels that inspire the final design. We're hosting free color-mixing and panel-creation workshops:

JULY 21 & 25 (3-5 PM at Books Revisited)
AUGUST 1 & 15 (10 AM-12 PM at Farmers Market)

All ages. All abilities. No art experience needed. Just come make something beautiful.

Then, watch it all come together September 1-15 as professional artists paint the massive mural. And celebrate with us September 17 at the community dedication!
