St. Charles Singers Founded in 1984, St. Charles Singers is a 32-voice internationally recognized professional choir that performs regularly around the Chicagoland area.

We didn’t have to dodge any storms at our Friday “Sacred Spaces” concert at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, but the evening was every bit as exciting as our Thursday concert. We sang a soaring finale to our 41st season, and had a warm audience sendoff for our Italian tour!

How can we keep from singing? When a tornado warning interrupted our Thursday performance at Saint Michael Catholic Church - Wheaton, the choir and audience took shelter in the church’s safe-space basement— and continued the rest of the program. Our thanks to our enthusiastic and flexible audience, as well as to our St. Michael hosts. Our final song couldn’t have been more appropriate.
