Some witches work their magic within a protected space called the circle. The circle is a temporary space erected by the witch. In the circle she performs spells, magic and rituals. The circle is a safe boundary that keeps negative energies and entities out.
This post though is to help you to stay protected at all times not just when you are performing magic.
Imagine you are surrounded by a white light, imagine you are standing inside a sphere of bright white light. White light is important as being in it raises our own vibrations thus making it less likely that we’ll even encounter those who are choosing to follow the path of a lower vibration. (negativity)
Mirror visualization Imagine mirrors facing outwards, especially over your chakras. The idea here is that your visualization should have the mirrors facing outwards so that energy is reflected away from you, Like a disco ball around you which will reflect all the nasty energies away.
Blue bubble/shield
This is a very Similar visualization to the white light technique, but using a vivid blue light around you. Blue also protects your throat chakra. You can even layer the above techniques to enforce a stronger protection.
Salt
Salt... we are talking sea salt or Himalayan salt, but at a push normal table salt will suffice. Fill a glass and keep it in the room where the most people will be, or place a cup on a desk. Flush the salt every two weeks. Also bathing in salt cleanses your aura.
Crystals
Crystals like black tourmaline, haematite absorb negative energies. Labradorite, clear quartz and selenite. Wearing or carrying said crystals can help protect you from negative people or situations.
Burning flame technique
Imagine flames around your aura this is for an emergency protection to do at a moments notice.
Prayer or affirmations to the deity you worship to keep you safe, such as
“Morrigan, please keep me safe on my path this day,
watch over me at work and play.
Help keep me focussed and keep me calm,
ensure I get into no harm.
So mote it be”
You can also call upon your spiritual team for extra protection from all people who are toxic and negative. Don’t be surprised when you receive evidence of their support.
Before you step out of your room in the mornings, make creating personal energy shields a part of your getting up ritual.
Each and every one of us has the ability to create personal energy shields. Since we are all energy, shields are simply an extension of ourselves. An empath or someone highly sensitive and compassionate can be like a “sponge”. Empaths are prone to soaking up unwanted energy from others. So these techniques are a must in our day to day lives. You find all witches are always protected and the longer you have been on the path the more advanced your protection will be. I myself will not share my protection and you will find that most seasoned witches will not share either, because it’s our personal protection. There are some secrets I will not share because it would be dangerous to my practice and energy.
I will also share more advanced techniques at a later date.
