The latest and most likely the last Street Saint; one of a series of collages of Catholic Saints of African descent. Depicted mostly, by local unhoused people.
Will secure and mount this image to a cradle board within the week.

St. Anthony of Egypt
B. January 12, 251 Herakleopolis Magna, Egypt.
D. January 17, 356 Mount Colzim, Egypt.
Patron Saint of animals, basket makers, brush makers, butchers and farmers.
Was known as one of the first religious to go into the wildness and in his case the Eastern Desert of Egypt and was known as the Father of All Monks; more properly as The Father of Monasticism, a form of religious life devoted to solitude, prayer and penance in the desert. Between two distinct periods of his life, he spent a total of 85 years in the desert. St. Anthony lived to be 105 years old.
Feast day is January 17
