Nature's Invitation
Oh beautiful hummingbird
With wings so fast in flight
You are so very beautiful
Flitting before my eyes
Suck up those sweet juices
Enjoy the nourishment
Give your friends this location
And to my garden send
So many come with your vocation
To enjoy the sustenance

The Light
He dwells in unapproachable light
No living man can describe him
I pray when I lie and close my eyes
On Christ my lord I'm focusing

Finality Facility
Sentenced to solitude
Within four dismal walls
No crime was committed
Sickness is the cause
Evacuation Is not private
Dignity has tto go
Sentence is undetermined
Quietus makes the call

Dedicated to Margie Blankenship and children
Solicitude
Things happen we don't understand
And so, we question why
It is a common thing for man
Full of pity to cry

Instead of weeping our mishaps
Be thankful for the claims
All those negative things entrap
Our minds in mental chains

Dear fans, followers, friends, and family,
many are messaging, texting, and sending cards to me. Thank you all. You ask how I am doing. I am still here. ALS is a horrible disease.
I started feeling this two years ago.
I eventually lost the use of my right hand and arm. I continued to find ways to cope. I still cooked, cleaned the house, washed clothes, and walked my dog.
As I digressed I lost the use of my left arm and hand and my chin fell to my chest.
I am now in the Samantha Wilson Care Center at Bayview on Marine Street in St. Augustine Florida.
Your visits are welcomed wholeheartedly.
My eyes are getting weaker but my brain is maintaining its same low IQ. I try to read your posts, but it is getting more difficult.
Continue praying for me. Ask God to help me stay nice to the workers who are cold and mean, however, most are very nice and accommodating.

Good Night
Introduced to Lou Gehrig
When he came to visit me
Very late in the evening
As quiet as I could be

Good night to friends and loved ones
And fans who've attached to me
I'll see you in the morning
To rejoice eternally

I’m sorry for not updating everyone sooner, we were waiting for some final decisions to go through. I sat and spoke with Dad and he wanted me to make a post updating everyone on his condition now that everything is in order. For now, he is still in room 511 at Baptist Medical Center South, Jacksonville, Florida. He has enjoyed everyone’s visits and messages so very much. All of the neighbors, family, and friends have made him truly happy. You have all helped so much to keep him cheerful, all of the messages and kind words mean a lot right now. Anyone who would like to see him is more than welcome. He said that he is trying to respond to everyone the best he can, he has to have someone do it for him and it’s not always possible to get to all of the messages. He wants everyone to know that he does see your messages and the amount of love that has been shown means the world to him. Dad is going to move Monday to the Bailey Family Center/Community Hospice of NE Florida, located at 200 Health Park Blvd, St. Augustine, FL 32086. He said all visits, messages, and phone calls are welcome 24/7 once he is there. He told me there is a nice garden there that he can be taken to visit whenever he wants. I’m sure many of you know how he loves his plants, flowers, and nature. We also spoke about how he’s able to see his companion, a German Shepard named Duchess while he is there. He wants everyone to know he will be comfortable and happy until the end. He also told me he loves to see everyone and doesn’t want anybody to feel they are unwelcome or cannot visit for any reason, at any time. He asked me to upload this photo of him with one of his dear sisters, LaNita.
