First Coast Unifieds are TOMORROW!!!

This is a fantastic opportunity for actors of all experience levels to audition for a wide range of directors representing theatres all throughout Northeast Florida. Multiple companies will be scouting talent for their upcoming seasons, so don't miss your chance to shine!

⏰ Audition Schedule:
10:00 AM – Pre-Registered Auditions [MINORS ONLY]
11:00 AM – Pre-Registered Auditions [ADULTS ONLY]
12:00 PM – Lunch
1:00 – 2:00 PM – Walk-In / General Auditions

📌 IMPORTANT:
Walk-In sign-ups will commence at 12pm. Once all Walk-In slots are filled, we will unfortunately not be able to take any more auditions.

Audition Requirements:
Please prepare ONE of the options below:
1. A 1-minute monologue
2. A 32 bar song cut (Accompaniment will be provided)
3. A 1-minute monologue and a 32 bar song cut

If you are not pre-registered, please bring at least 10 copies of your headshot and resume.

✨"THE SOUND OF MUSIC" CAST SPOTLIGHTS! ✨

FRANCIS RYAN - KURT
Francis Ryan is a rising 6th grader at R.J. Murray middle school. He has been acting, dancing, and singing at the Limelight Theatre Education program for 5 years and is excited to be taking a step onto the MainStage. Francis' favorite performances include "James and the Giant Peach JR." (James), "Seussical JR." (Cat in the Hat) and "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever JR." (Charlie Bradley). Francis is very thankful to be a part of The Sound of Music cast.

AUGUSTINE CHRISTIAN - BRIGITTA
Augustine Christian is going into 5th grade at Ketterlinus Elementary School in downtown St. Augustine. She has recently been onstage as Moana in "Moana", Mrs. Potts in "Beauty and the Beast" at KES and Alice in "Matilda" with APEX. This is her first main stage production at the Limelight Theatre. She is thrilled to join the production and continue her musical theatre journey.

SADIE HALL - MARTA
Sadie is thrilled to return to the Limelight Theatre stage as Marta in the beloved Sound of Music. This marks her second role with Limelight, having previously performed as Molly in "Annie". She has been nurturing this passion through READY SET ACT classes and voice lessons at Music Rowe. Sadie would like to thank her friends and family for their continued support, Ms. Chris and Ms. Macy for their incredible coaching, and the entire cast and crew at Limelight for this amazing opportunity.

BAILEY BUTLER - GRETL
Bailey Butler is excited to be part of this production of "The Sound of Music", her first mainstage production with the Limelight Theatre. Bailey loves being on stage with the Limelight Education Department. She is an active member of Drama Kids Club at school and takes dance and gymnastics classes after school. In her free time, Bailey loves reading, crafting, and putting on skits at home.

"The Sound of Music" opens on July 16th and runs through August 9th with a Preview Performance on July 15th and a Terrific Tuesday Performance on August 4th.

✨"THE SOUND OF MUSIC" CAST SPOTLIGHTS! ✨

ELIZABETH LISS - LIESL
Elizabeth Liss is thrilled to be making her debut with the Limelight Theatre! Her previous credits include "Dear Evan Hansen" (Ensemble), "The Sound of Music" (Sister Berthe) and "Into the Woods" (Little Red). Elizabeth has also played roles in several independent films such as, "Cataclysm and Calamity" and "The Ugly Duckling". Elizabeth would like to thank her family for supporting her love for the arts!

PETER FISK - ROLF GRUBER
Peter Fisk, an aspiring actor, is thrilled to be returning to the Limelight Theatre for The Sound of Music. He was previously seen in last summer’s production of "Hairspray" as part of the nicest kids’ council (Sketch). He plans on studying musical theatre at Florida Schools of the Arts this fall. He would like to thank everyone behind the scenes who brought this production together.

MASON WHITE - FRIEDRICH
Mason White is excited to make his mainstage debut at the Limelight Theatre as Friedrich von Trapp! He is currently a student at Flagler College majoring in Theatre Arts, where he's done such shows as "Little Women", "The Thanksgiving Play" and "12 Angry Jurors". He will be assistant directing "The Children's Hour" at Flagler this upcoming fall! He would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him. He would also like to thank the late Christopher Waterman, who ignited his passion for the theatre.

JAMESON BENNET - LOUISA
Jameson Bennet is a rising freshman at Douglas Anderson and is incredibly grateful and excited to be a part of this beautiful and heartfelt production. You may have seen her in "The Addams Family" (Wednesday Addams), "Xanadu" (Calliope) or "The Miracle Worker" (Alice) at Murray Middle School. She is deeply grateful for the many opportunities that have allowed her to bring so many wonderful characters to life. She would like to thank her family, friends, and directors for their unwavering support.

LIVI DE MAIO - MARIA RAINER
Livi Demaio is a rising junior at Penn State University working toward her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. She is thrilled to be making her Limelight Theatre debut! Livi was most recently seen as Eliza Doolittle in Penn State Centre Stage’s production of "My Fair Lady". Last summer, she was one of fifteen acting interns at the New London Barn Playhouse where she performed in "Hairspray" (Amber), "Sister Act" (Ensemble) and "Mary Poppins" (Ensemble, Mary Poppins U/S). She wants to thank her family, friends, and teachers for all their support. Proud Douglas Anderson Musical Theatre Alum!

FRANKLIN RITCH - GEORG VON TRAPP
Franklin Ritch is an independent filmmaker and actor native to Jacksonville Florida. In 2022, he premiered his debut feature film, "The Artifice Girl", starring sci-fi legend Lance Henriksen. Franklin has been named one of the "25 New Faces of Independent Film" by Filmmaker Magazine, and his work continues to be recognized in media outlets such as Screen Anarchy, Movie Maker Magazine, and The Film Stage. Since then, Franklin has acted in films such as "The Life of Chuck" and "No Sleep Till" with even more exciting projects in the works. Franklin would like to thank the directors for bribing him.

Synopsis: A personal tale of growth and hope, The Sound of Music tells the tale of young postulant Maria Rainer, whose free spirit has trouble fitting into the rules and regulations of Nonnberg Abbey. Commissioned by the Mother Abbess to serve as the governess for seven motherless children, Maria transforms the Von Trapp family home from a place of dour rules and regulations to one filled with joy, laughter and music. But their happiness is soon challenged by something far more sinister at play…
