To provide an event series in the community that is sustained through volunteers and consistent donor streams and strategies, while highlighting local musicians, artists and caterers in a safe environment and in front of an engaged audience every other month- all in the spirit of promoting art, community, diversity, equity, and inclusion. How the world is accessing music a
nd food is changing ~ make reservations months in advance to fight traffic, find parking, to rush through dinner, to get back to the car, fight traffic some more, find parking again, all in the hopes you'll get to the show in time and have it be in a safe environment. There are some many lost opportunities of real connection and community in this process that the Lakeshore Community Event Series is set out to change. Imagine ~ a single place to get a ticketed, limited seating, elevated dinning experience around a "family style" meal surrounded by people from all walks of life connected by the artist of the night and/or the caterer of the evening, sharing stories like you would at your family table... all in one place. After dinner, the 90 - 120 minute concert is open to the public by donation, making the event experience accessible to all. Thanks to Tiny Seed, our fiscal sponsor, we are able to function as a non-profit, making all donations tax deductible.
