🎨✨ That's a Wrap on Day 1 of Summer Art Camp Session 1! ✨🎨

What an amazing first day with our talented 8–10-year-old artists! 🖌️🌟

Today was filled with creativity, imagination, new friendships, and lots of artistic exploration. From colorful masterpieces to unique creations, our campers jumped right into the creative process and impressed us with their enthusiasm and talent.

We're so proud of everything they accomplished on their very first day and can't wait to see what they create throughout the rest of the week!

EXHIBITION SPOTLIGHT: "Freedom of the Human Spirit"

Fredericks created a full-scale "Freedom of the Human Spirit" sculpture for the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair. A small-scale casting of "Freedom of the Human Spirit", like the one on display in the current changing exhibition, serves as the annual Communications Award for the International Center for the Disabled, an organization of which Fredericks was a longtime benefactor. Notable recipients of this award include President George H.W. Bush, Betty Ford, Nancy Reagan and Christopher Reeve.
