Senior Spotlight: Brooke E. Breasbois! Brooke, You are such a beautiful dancer who always brings our teachers/choreographer's visions to life. We wish you the best of luck and will miss you very much!
I became a Bohaty dancer at the age of three and I am proud to be graduating as one. Besides working hard for many years as a competitive dancer, I graduated from Merrill High School on May 21st 2023 with academic honors. During high school I was dual enrolled with Delta College, a member of the student council, member of the National Honor Society, member of Mt. Haley Livestock 4 H Club, Sideline & Competitive Cheerleader. I felt very honored to be recognized as part of homecoming court & the 1st team All Conference MSAC Academic Team. I was also Awarded 2023 MHSAA First Team All State, All Region, & All District in Division 4 Competitive Cheer. I know my many years of training in dance technique & learning about time management and study habits contributed to my ability to obtain such recognitions.
I will begin my thirteenth year in the fall and continue attending Delta College. If all goes as planned, I will be able to validate next year in hopes to be accepted into their sonography program at Delta. My goal is to pursue a career as an Ultrasound Technologist.
When I dance I hope you can see as much passion as Ms. Karolyn, as much talent as Ms. Candy, as much ballet technique as Ms. Jen Wiley, as much rhythm as Ms. Jen Kempf and the thoughtfulness of Ms. Sarah. I will cherish all of my memories and experiences that occurred throughout my dancing years under their instruction. Also, the life lessons I have obtained. Mostly, I will cherish the friendships I have made with my teammates and dance family (too numerous to mention) but especially with Claudia, Addie, and my second dance mom, Corey. I hope everyone enjoyed our show! Love, Your 2023 Bohaty Alumnus Brooke E. Breasbois.
