Sometimes, ideas just come to me and other times, I wonder if I've run out of ideas. The idea of painting women and animals together in this way came to me in the wee hours one morning. Somebody wanted a custom commission of a fox and while I rejected it because animals aren't my expertise, the photo was too cute to ignore. I ended up painting it and this is my second attempt. I think it turned out pretty well. Thank you to this person for making me go outside of my comfort zone and explore.

I want my posts to be more organic and meaningful rather than sticking to a fixed schedule that may result in me posting work that's subpar. The challenges of being an artist and small business owner on top of being a mother are unsurprisingly plentiful. I currently can't make enough time to create art with enough regularity to keep up with posting 3 times a week. Therefore, going forward I will only post when I have something that is, in my opinion, worth posting. I want my brand to be based on quality, not quantity. Thank you for your understanding and I appreciate your support! Should you choose to unfollow, I hope that our paths will cross again in the future.
