🔹 Film Screening:
Join us in The Barn at 5:00pm for a Private Film Screening of the documentary film, “LASTING IMPRESSIONS”, an intimate journey through the life & work of world-renowned printmaker, painter, innovator and teacher, Dan Welden.

🔹 Artwork Unveiling:
We are also excited to announce that after the film, Dan will unveil a new work to be added to his Symphony No. 103 Exhibition. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine and light bites while taking in this stunning exhibition.

🔹 About the film:
Told in chapters as art unfolds through the thoughts and observations of his friends & colleagues including Kiki Smith, Eric Fischl, Alice Aycock, and Helen A. Harrison among others, this film conveys the essence of the artist and also explores inspirations and motivations that drive the act of creation. Filmed on location in Sag Harbor and The Catskills with support from Freudenberg Arts and Inspiration Plus Foundation the production revolves around the artist’s creativity and innovative thinking.

A consonance of four parts: paintings, etchings, mark-making, color.
August 10 - September 15, 2024

Celebrating his 103rd Solo Exhibition, "Symphony No. 103" is a new selection of paintings and etchings by master printmaker and painter, Dan Welden. Join us on Saturday, August 17 from 4-7pm to hear Dan speak about his work in the exhibition and share a toast with the artist in honor of his incredible artistic career.

Dan chatted about this exhibition with us and said, 'It is through awareness that I experience the music of my art. When I hear its resonating sound, the composer's spirit escalates within me and its evolving echo makes the impression into one symphony. There is no ego separating that birth of pure energy.”
