Soooo I started again to work on Angela. This is the first time I'm working with high quality foam. We can say whatever we want, but it's a whole upgraded new world. Also, I will work with some left over Worbla I've got from a very nice friend a long time ago to make my headdress (see picture from last year π) to make sure it's going to be sturdy and won't wobble when I walk. This is going to be a first too. π Tried to find some more but it looks like it's sold out, like the Nintendo Switch I desperately want, on the websites I usually order. π€·ββοΈ Ordered my gold 18k paint today so I should receive it by the end of the month (not their fault but mostly c-vid and the mail fault)? π Also, I'm on twitch since the beginning of the year. I haven't announced it here yet because I haven't did any cosplay progress on there, only gaming, because it takes me a million years to figure out how to do stuff. So the second boot I plan on streaming it. Will let you know. π To be honest, I'm kinda shy about it, to show my redneck cosplay skills. π

PS: even tho it's awesome to have nice foam for armor, I think it's ideal to start with foam you can get in craft store or dollars store or even in hardware store where you can deal a price because it's slighty damaged (like my Soulsword). It make you feel less scared to try new stuff, which is the most important part of the process, and it doesn't break your heart to throw in the scrap bin the 1$ or so foam sheet. I still have cheap foam to make complicated patterns because I can't, for the life of me, figure out how paper pattern will behave in foam form if I don't see it. π€πΉ

PPS: I ordered a new cutting mat since I don't have one right now, I can't wait to get it because what I'm using right now is killing my knife. ππ°
