Stripped Down Music: Unplugged Performances in Unique Settings

I started making music when I was quite young. I auditioned for my first professional chorus in the 4th grade. It was a children's chorus that rehearsed in Coconut Grove, Fl and there were two of us from Homestead that were selected. Happy Friday! I'm playing the Thirsty Turtle tonight 4/7 from 6 to 9 pm in Fort Pierce. Saturday I'll be at the Italian Fisherman in Grant from 5 to 7, and Sunday I'll be back at the Kilted Mermaid in Vero from 6 to 9 and I look forward to seeing you at one of the shows. Throughout my life I’ve been so very lucky to have wonderful dogs, my childhood dogs, Jennifer, Chaka, & Rex, Buddy the Brittany Spaniel, Dewey the Lab, Petey Pie the mastiff, and Khona the Cur mix. Lastly was my sweet Margot the Shih-poo. She was filled with personality and a funny curious nature. She walked me several times a day and had her neighborhood friends she always wanted to check on. She crossed over the rainbow bridge🌈 on Saturday night and my house is so empty without her. 💔 I am ever grateful for my time with her and so sad she’s gone.

I was worried about getting through Sundays gig, but it was a good reprieve and redirect from grief. Thanks so much to everyone who came out last night and especially James Bozzi who joined me on sax for some tunes, Kathy Wolfe Archie Radish, Ann Butera, Rebecca McIlvain, Katie and Adam, and the excellent staff of the Kilted Mermaid, and everyone else who helped fill the room with their beautiful loving energy. Godspeed sweet Margot. 💫 Here are some of my favorite pics of her.
