His bandoneon button layout appears to be the Peguri system... similar to C-grif chromatic button accordions... which is much easier to master than the insanely difficult traditional Argentine tango layout.
But this is still an amazing display of musicianship regardless... opening a floodgate of ideas for me to pursue.

ATTN: Paying volunteers for scientific study

Interested parties apply in person at the Acoustic Sanctuary – parked at 200 J Street (or thereabouts) in the Old Sac waterfront district. The only requirements are high tolerance for abuse and enough financial stability to pay a cover charge.

Tests will be run on two groups – women and men. One will act as a control group – the other uncontrollable. Perhaps a third interchangeable group will emerge for exploring boundaries of awkward silence.

We are attempting to determine the correlation between social dysfunction and the prevalence of two organic complex enzymes – naggaman associated with estrogen, and besomean associated with testosterone – secreted by loath glands whenever inflamed.

This inflammation festers from a worldwide shortage of thick skin – due to global supply chain disruptions brought on by recurring COVID variants – as face masks hinder smiling.

All models suggest it heats up the atmosphere of immediate environments contributing to global warming. Ninety-six percent of scientists agree it must stop – reversing the trend, no matter the cost.

Lab hours are from 8 ‘til late on Thur, Fri and Saturday nights.
