I began my artistic journey at a young age, engaging in music, performance, drawing, painting, and sculpting. By the time I was just three years old, my passion for creativity had already taken root. At thirteen, I took my music seriously and established the Napalm Clique, a rap group, in Los Angeles. In the fall of 2000, I made the move to the Bay Area to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts

at the California College of the Arts. Following my time at CCA, I delved into the world of education, aiming to obtain my teacher's credential for single-subject art and a Master's in Education at Mills College. Since 2001, I have been teaching Hip-Hop, art, and life skills in public schools throughout the Bay Area and even on the beautiful island of Guam. My dedication to my students' lives was recognized when the Guam Legislature awarded me a Resolution in 2005. It's been over two decades now, and creating, releasing, and performing my own art and music has become my full-time occupation. Additionally, I have embraced the role of a curator, organizing art exhibits and constantly evolving as an art educator. To learn more about me and my work, please visit my website at

Today is my Physical Degree Day, or as most would say my Birthday, Born Day or Earth Strong. It can also be viewed as my Mothers birthday and my earth day. Shot out to my Moms and also my Dad for giving me the opportunity to be here. Thank you everyone who hit me up, showed love and thought about me today 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. I appreciate you all immensely, and will be responding to everyone throughout the week.

Just like in photography, contrast refers to the difference between light and dark elements. In decorating, it helps create visual interest and intentionality by guiding the eye to different focal points in a space.

If your room leans dark, try adding lighter accents in complementary shades or contrasting colors. Artwork with bold contrast can also bring life to areas that feel flat or uninspired. Keep the dimensions and size of how things take up space in mind and vary them.
