Before 8am would be a little hard but making a mental note to try and achieve these is hopeful. Giving yourself time to start the day right. ✅

Meditating use to be hard. I use to fall asleep and think I’m not doing it right. But it’s even harder to do nothing. 😜

So allow all the thoughts to pass and go. But then try to not focus on one thing for too long. I kept looking at the clock. Don’t do that. Just set a timer with a gentle chime. 🎐🎻🥁🎼

it’s more of a reflection whatever comes to mind and listen to your body. You might not realize your shoulders are high up to your ears. Bring them down , relax your face the more you allow yourself to relax you will sink into your safe place. 🧘🧘‍♂️

Their might be memories or pictures or colors. All is welcome and you doing what’s best for you. Take a moment to be present and not just passing through the day ignoring your feelings and thoughts. 🌈

This year was about self care for me and my family. I love what I do. I’m enrolled in a yoga program and I provided some yoga in the park and it was great and refreshing. I even provided a couple yoga classes it reminded me that my passion is working with children. I’m enrolled in college this semester but will opening up again within the year. Lots of change this year and looking forward to seeing the children.

A mom told me recently that she gave her 14-year-old son a spiral notebook and told him he could write anything he wanted in the notebook (questions, things he was too shy to talk about, things he thought she'd be mad at him about). After he wrote in the notebook, he'd leave it on her bedroom dresser and the next day she'd write him back. Such a smart mama... keep them talking. 💜
