Join Placer Theatre Ballet for our FREE Nutcracker in July Community Workshop on Saturday, July 25 at Opal Studios in Roseville.

Whether you’re a returning PTB dancer or thinking about auditioning for the very first time, this fun, interactive workshop is the perfect way to:
🎄 Meet PTB’s new Artistic Directors
🩰 Learn choreography from this year’s production
👑 Preview exciting new costumes
💬 Ask questions during our parent Q&A
✨ Get a behind-the-scenes look at this season’s Nutcracker

Two sessions are available:
🎀 Ages 5–10: 10:30 AM–11:45 AM
🎀 Ages 11+: 11:50 AM–1:00 PM

Parents are welcome to observe and join the Q&A!

✨ The wait is over... Audition registration for the Placer Theatre Ballet 2026 production of The Nutcracker is officially OPEN! 🎄🩰

Join us this holiday season as we bring this beloved tradition to life. We welcome dancers ages 5 and up to audition and become part of the magic!

✨ Youth Auditions: Saturday, August 8th and Sunday, August 9, 2026
✨ Callbacks (select roles) and 18+ Auditions (please see registration form for parameters): Sunday, August 16, 2026

This year, auditions will be held in smaller age groups, so be sure to register for your dancer’s age group based on their age as of September 1, 2026.

✨ As we head into the closing weekend of Nutcracker 2025, we’re sprinkling a little spotlight magic on some of the incredible cast and crew who bring this world to life.

🌟Pic 1: Mallory — our 2025 Standing Ovation Awardee, honored for her remarkable work ethic and the radiant presence she’s brought to every moment of the Nutcracker season.

🪡Pic 2: Carrie (pictured with Board President, Drew)— our 2025 Volunteer of the Year, whose tireless care ensures every costume is absolutely perfect. Her many hours of dedication help make the stage truly sparkle.

🎓Pic 3: Our four graduating seniors — dancers who embody PTB’s spirit of growth, artistry, and transformation. Their journeys remind us what this ballet is all about.
