(more pics!) Still in my feels from our little mock fete! Some friends from Manuia Polynesia Rocklin, Uncle Olin from the bay, and our old, familiar Otahi faces came to support the new gen comp team get ready for comp szn. Our judges gave the dancers great advice and we watched the dancers grow and improve with each round. We'll see you at the next comp! Who's ready for Kiki Raina 2026?!

Still in my feels from our little mock fete! Some friends from Manuia Polynesia Rocklin, Uncle Olin from the bay, and our old, familiar Otahi faces came to support the new gen comp team get ready for comp szn. "Te Fa’a No Te Ori 2025 was one of my favorite competitions, and I’ve never had more fun competing. The outdoor stage for prelims was beautiful, and the atmosphere was great for watching. I loved being able to make new friends and see old ones that I’ve met at previous competitions. For me one of the best parts of competition is seeing the Ori community come together, and it was so fun watching group and cheering for my friends. I had the opportunity to attend Matatini’s otea workshop, and I really enjoyed it! I learned so much, and getting to perform the otea in the arena was really special. Overall it was an amazing weekend, and it felt really good to showcase all of this year’s hard work and training on the stage for the last time this year."

This time last week...

Thank you so much to for hosting an awesome event! We appreciate all the work you and your team put into the whole weekend. From the dressing room, to the workshops, all the way up to the stage and everywhere behind and in between, we saw how much time, effort, and attention was put into it ALL. It did not go unnoticed!
Thank you for always being there to lead when called and support when needed. You're my zenith and a guiding light to all our members. I owe you EVERYTHING.
Thank you to .jpg for the awesome photos after each competition! You never fail to capture all of the best moments churn out these pics as quickly as possible.
Thank you to for always being present and working so hard to learn and train for our members to have awesome drummers. We're nothing without our musicians!
