🇵🇭 Homemade Chicken Adobo with Organic Ingredients 🇵🇭
Nothing beats a classic chicken adobo made from scratch!
🍗 Ingredients:
• Farmer Focus Organic Chicken Wings (from ButcherBox)
• 1 Organic Potato (Nature’s Pride), diced
• 2 Boiled Eggs
• Kikkoman Soy Sauce
• Vinegar
• Granulated Brown Sugar
• Kirkland Coarse Black Pepper
• Garlic Powder
• Onion Powder
• Trader Joe’s Spicy Honey Sauce (my twist for a little heat and sweetness)
👨🏾🍳 Directions:
1. Season the chicken wings with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and a touch of spicy honey sauce.
3. Marinate the wings for at least 30 minutes (longer for deeper flavor).
4. Add the chicken and marinade to a pot and bring to a simmer.
5. Add the diced potato and cook until tender and the chicken is fully cooked.
6. Let the sauce reduce until rich and flavorful.
7. Add the boiled eggs during the last few minutes so they absorb the adobo flavor.
8. Serve hot over rice and enjoy!
