CALLING ALL WRITERS!

With 2020 being a total bust and us missing out on our annual production of Parameters for 2 years in a row, we wanted to do something extra special once we return to our stage!

Errant Phoenix is looking for several 5-15 minute one-act scenes for us to use during our upcoming production of Parameters For The Holidays!

Parameters is a one-act show with a twist! First, the actors will perform the scene as the writer and director intended. Then, the audience will have the chance to define the parameters for how the scene should be played again. This is a great opportunity for new playwrights and directors, but is equally as challenging and fun for the actors! But for this year, we'd like scripts that specifically address the quirks of the holiday season. Have a Thanksgiving dinner story that ended up in a huge family food fight? Write it down and send it in! Did something happen to the menorah on the 4th day? Put it into a script and send it in!

We'd prefer to have the number of cast members these scripts be relatively low, as we're still trying to be as mindful of social distancing as possible. But if your script needs 5 people, then we'll consider it.

Please submit your script no later than August 27th to [email protected].

Whether your piece is comedic or dramatic is up to you. Just keep in mind that the audience will be changing it! 😂
