July 11, 2025 marked the one-year anniversary that Officer Matthew Bowen of the Vacaville, CA Police Department was killed in the line of duty. Frostad Atelier had the honor of producing his motorcycle helmet in bronze. The helmet will honor his sacrifice for eternity.

A new bronze/stainless steel fountain sculpture is being installed in Isleton, California,

Sculptor: Yoshio Taylor of Sacramento, California.
Foundry: Frostad Atelier, Sacramento, California that cast, assembled and installed the sculpture.
Ronnie Frostad, foundry owner, is shown with the sculpture.

The sculpture is being installed in the new Heritage Park in Isleton. It honors the legacy of families of Japanese and Chinese ancestry who once lived in the Historic District of Isleton.
Isleton is located in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta area of California.

Dida, the bronze African elephant previously posted, has arrived at her new, permanent home in Montecito, Calif. The owner commissioned Dinis Matthews, from Nairobi, Kenya, to sculpt Dida. Denis then commissioned Frostad Atelier Foundry in Sacramento, Calif. to cast, assemble, and finish the sculpture which was trucked to her home, far from Kenya, upon completion. Dida should ‘enjoy’ her new, beautiful environment next to the Pacific Ocean and near Santa Barbara forever..

FROSTAD ATELIER TEAM! It takes a great team to produce a monumental sculpture like Dida, and she deserves the best. She was the matriarach for a heard of elephants in Kenya until her death in 2022 at the age of 65. She was Kenya’s largest female elephant.
