Tonight’s lesson topic taught by is “Drawing Circles” - Taking a circular focus 🌪️
With a lifelong background as a gymnast, dancer, musician, and coach, Kristin began her young training in jazz, tap, and ballet. Enjoying her studies in both dance and tumbling, she naturally navigated into Swing dancing, and as a teen, quickly became a Lindy Hop, Blues, and West Coast Swing instructor, performer, and judge both nationally and abroad.
In her 26 year career teaching Vernacular Jazz, Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, Balboa, Blues, Charleston, and various other swing era dances, Kristin has always focused on breaking down music to movement, creating a unique rhythmic style that is complex and intricate.
