AUDITIONS
“A Christmas Carol, the Rock and Roll Panto”

Auditions for City Theatre’s 2nd Fall production will be held September 15 and 16 from 6:30 – 10:00 in the Auditorium. We are looking for 15 – 20 actors for a variety of roles in this year’s rocking Panto, with music from the Hair bands of the 1980s. Filled with the words of Charles Dickens, dad jokes, glitter, and loud music, it’ll be guaranteed fun.

Rehearsals begin October 6 Rehearsals will be 5 days a week: M- F evenings, and some Saturday Afternoons.

Performances Dates: November 20 – December 13
Thursday - Saturday Performances at 7:30pm
Sunday Performances at 2:00pm
No Performance on Thanksgiving.

Auditions will consist of readings from the script, a short piece of choreography, and songs from the play.
All actors will need to enroll in TAP 320 (series)
Please bring a photo and resume, if you have one, and prepare 16 bars from a rock song with sheet music, if you have one. If you don’t, we will teach one

The Roles of Scrooge and Christmas Present are being reprised by the original actors, but all other roles are open.

"Learned Ladies" Auditions are tonight, August 26!!!

Come join us for one of Moliere's wonderful comedies, adapted and directed by Sacramento's own Adrienne Sher. It's going to be a really wonderful adventure! Really wonderful roles to sink your teeth into. We are also looking for more male-presenting actors!
