When you support Capital Stage, you support a community of artists, staff, administrators, and technicians. It takes a village to produce theatre. For every actor on stage that you see, supporting them from backstage there is a stage manager, an assistant stage manager, crew members, multiple designers, technicians, and more. And supporting from the front-of-house and administrative offices there are box office staff, a house manager, a development manager, a marketing manager, a payroll and accounting manager, education manager, outreach officers, and on and on it goes. None of this is possible without multiple players on and off stage, making a company they believe in work on a daily basis. And that includes you, our donors! None of the work our village does is possible without your support. When you support our community, you support the economic, art, and cultural landscape of Sacramento. You help to make this city a place we love to live. Donate before August 31 to help us reach our Act Forward Campaign goal at capstage.org/donate

When you support Capital Stage, you support a fundamental component of new play development. Just last week, Capital Stage held its annual New Play Festival PLAYWRIGHTS' REVOLUTION wherein four new plays were read before audiences for the playwrights to hear comments and feedback. This is a vital part of new play development. Every play you have seen produced on stage has gone through this process. And when you support Capital Stage, you support the creation of new plays. Donate before August 31 to help us reach our goal at capstage.org/donate
