So sorry to hear about the passing of longtime artist manager Peter Katsis. I first worked with Peter in the early 90's when he was managing the Chicago Power-Pop band Material Issue. We booked them a handful of times at venues like The Cattle Club, El Dorado Saloon, Melarkey's, and One Edge Up.

At one point, he and then partner, Jeff Kwatinetz, came to a KORN show we had at The Cattle Club and basically signed the band there. I continued promoting shows with Korn, moving up in venue size until they reached the arena-level. In 1999, Peter showed true loyalty by keeping me involved and giving us a sold out show with Korn and Rob Zombie at ARCO Arena in Sacramento.

Rest in peace, Peter. You'll truly be missed.

Peter Katsis, who helped helm the careers to major artists like the Backstreet Boys, Limp Bizkit, and the Smashing Pumpkins, has died.
