Next weekend ⚠️: One of my favorite boutique music festivals returns to El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville. What started out as Hangtown Halloween Ball is now Golden Road Gathering. This year they have a great lineup with something for almost everyone: Americana, Funk, EDM, Hip Hop, JamBand, Livetronica, Rock, World, etc.

29 years ago today we promoted our first arena show (w/Goldenvoice) at ARCO Arena, No Doubt / Cake / The Vandals. It was also No Doubt's first headline arena show as a band. They and their agent, Mitch Okmin, showed us a tremendous amount of loyalty for all the shows we did with them at Cattle Club/Crest Theatre/El Dorado Saloon, etc. It sold out quickly and was a big success for all involved. RIP Rick Van Santen (Goldenvoice).
