ATTN. OC/SO CAL POETRY COMMUNITY..
LOB is in So Cal and WILL be making an appearance this Wednesday night at the Ugly Mug Cafe in Orange, CA for Two Idiots Peddling poetry. I have been offered a 15 min set ...a mini feature..as they are not really doing feature spots right now. But there is an open reading.. and I will be bringing new fresh poems! I hope some of you can make it, sorry for the short notice, but it just sorta manifested today...LOB - POETRY - WEDNESDAY NOV 3 - UGLY MUG, ORANGE,CA. - 8pm - $3 cover -/\-

THEE WORD THING is an open reading hosted by Lob Instagon that will relaunch itself in Sacramento, CA on a MONTHLY basis beginning in January 2020 on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at SHINE located at 1400 E Street (14th & E Streets), Sacramento, CA Thee Word Thing is a WORD ONLY open reading.. not an open mic... so while poetry, prose, story telling, etc are all welcome, song and musical instruments are not so much.. there are plenty of other open mics in town for that. we are here for thee word thing. signups start at 7:30pm. first open reader at 8pm... no cover, but one drink min all ages welcome Featured reader generally around 8:30 or so for booking inquiries contact Lob Instagon. Thee Word Thing first started in Orange Country, CA in the mid 1990’s and has seen many venues over its long winded past... it has been dormant for a long time.. this is the first incarnation of it in the Sacramento area.
